cant open project help

Hi everybody I am new to Slate but have made quick progress and I love it!!!

HOWEVER I ran into the most frustrating issue – after building a scene when I opened the saved unity project – No Slate…

its not in the “tools” section – I don’t seem to have the option to “edit in Slate”  in the inspector when I highlight the cutscene in the hierarchy

I can see the associated components in the hierarchy so it seems its there –

I cant figure out how to open an existing slate project – WT

….seems there is the need to be able to reopen slate projects without having to jump through hoops on a wild duck hunt but

Thank you for your positive feedback on Slate.

That is very weird. Can you please confirm that there is no compile error in the cosole due to any other script in your project.

If there is a compile error, then Slate will not be able to load, but as soon as you resolve the compile error (in case that is the problem) everything will get back to normal.

Please let me know if that is indeed the case.

I figured it out… Each project has a project instance gizmo floating around in the environment

…not knowing what it was I deleted it lol a little embarrassing but in case that happens to anyone else ….
