I find it hard to eyeball paths when drawing out the splines. Is it possible that you add these features
1) Raycast place points. So it will raycast to the nearest collider like what Simple Waypoint System (SWS) does. Alot of the paths are for ground actors, so this makes a lot of sense.
2) Show the transform of each point on the spline. Right now we can’t enter the x, y, z, thetax, thetay, thetaz position of each point making it hard to be precise.
Just to clarify, are you referring to the Bezier Path objects that can be created through “Tools/ParadoxNotion/Slate/Extra/Create Bezier Path”, or the “motion paths” that are displayed when animating a property in an Action Clip?
In the latest version 1.7.2 currently on the asset store, the Bezier Path already has a downwards raycast guide line 🙂
Please let me know if you don’t see them for any reason in your project, in case you are using latest version already.
The Bezier Path does not have your other request though about setting the position values in the inspector manually, which I have just added in the roadmap for the next version! 🙂
