Issue with Cross Dissolve on clip

Hello, I just started using Slate CS and it is a great tool. I have one small issue with cross-dissolving clips. I have two clips and I cross-dissolve between clip 1 and clip 2. When clip 1 ends and the cross-dissolve starts on clip 2, clip 1 immediately becomes very dark (as if it has been blended with 80% black) and THEN it cross-dissolves into clip 2. I have the cross-dissolve working properly in another simple scene, so I don’t believe it is user error.

Hello and sorry for the late reply!
Do you by any chance are using post processing effects attached on the Render Camera?
There is currently a limitation where cross-dissolve does not work correctly when camera effects are used. What is basically happening if that is the case, is that the dissolve is taking place from a camera render without post effects, to a camera render with post effects.
Of course this is something I am trying to solve.

Please let me know if that is indeed the case.
