I’m just trying SLATE and it’s amazing 🙂

I have a cutscene that is animating my camera. But i need the cutscene camera to start at the same place as the gameplay camera. No Blend in effects or cuts.
The cutscene is started from a trigger like seen in the video.
I thought about modify the first keyframe of the cutscene camera position, and replace by the gameplay camera position at runtime when the character enter the trigger, but i think it’s not a solution.

Slate already includes a mini feature for seamless blending in/out of gameplay, but that feature is only available if you are using the Camera Track and thus rendering the cutscene through the Render Camera, which is the official way of using cameras in Slate 🙂
If the above is the case, you can enable blending in/out of gameplay simply by setting the Gameplay Blend In/Out parameters found in Camera Track inspector to any value higher than 0!
Doing the above will achieve exactly what you need 🙂
