im new to slate the process is not all that smooth.
current stumbling block are paths.
i managed to add a path and tied my object to it. the animation works well.
the problem is i have no idea how to make the objects orientation follow the path as the example in documentation shows.
i have a rocket taking off and no matter what i do the body of the rocket always points the same way while traveling along the path.
any ideas?
The “Follow Path” action clip, has a setting called “Look Ahead Distance” in it’s inspector. The smaller the number is, the closer the object will look ahead of the path, while the higher the number the further away. Please try and set this slider to something quite small like 0.01 and let me know if it works for you.
Of course, if you have any more question, don’t hesitate to ask ahead and I will be glad to help!
Thanks!
