We’ve noticed that when we try to make changes to animation import settings when previewing a Slate cutscene, the moment we apply those settings, the editor will crash. For instance, if whilst previewing, we notice that an animation is not looping, so we go to the animation import settings, check “Loop Time” and hit “Apply”, the editor will crash. If we stop the cutscene preview first, the operation will succeed.

    Hello,

Sorry for the late reply and thanks for the report. I will try to see if I find a workaround this.
Probably something for force stopping cutscene preview when any asset is being re-imported.
    Thanks again!

Any update on this issue? Doesn’t seem to be fixed in Slate v1.7.2?

    Hello,
I am sorry, I missed fixing this in 1.7.2, but the fix is super easy.
I have attached for you here a .unitypackage with the relevant file to fix this. After you import the package and the new file, the editor will no longer crash after re-importing an animation. The cutscene will automatically stop before import takes place instead.

This fix will of course exist in the next version as well.
    Thanks for the reminder!
